Step 2: Navigate to the search option within the App Store application and input “Plex” into the search bar. Ensure to select the standard “Plex” application and avoid selecting any similar-sounding applications such as “Simple X – for Plex“.

Step 3: In the detailed view, as seen below, select the “Install” button.

Step 4: Upon the completion of the installation process, the “Install” button will transition to “Open”. Click on it once more to initiate the Plex application.

Following the Plex splash screen, you’ll be prompted to log into your Plex account. The application will provide you with a security code for verification.

Step 5: Retrieve the four-character alphanumeric code and proceed to Plex.tv/link. Enter the code to establish the connection between the Apple TV Plex application and your Plex account. You will receive nearly simultaneous confirmations on both the website and the Apple TV app, expressing gratitude for utilizing Plex.

Following the confirmation screen, you will observe all the Plex media servers linked to your account. In the provided screenshot, you can discern our intelligently named media server, “plexmediaserver_1“. Select the server to access its media content.
